We decided to start this blog to share our lives and
interests with our family and friends. We grew up sharing a room,
clothes and shoes, so why not share a blog! We thought it would be a fun
way to document our day to day activities and keep in touch with
family, especially the family we don't get to see very often. We also
have a lot of the same interests including our faith in God, love for
our growing families, and finding hobbies to keep us out of trouble.
We
named our blog "High Chairs & High Heels" because we daily feed our
children while wearing high heels. Not. We thought it represented what
our lives are like right now. We have young families and embrace
everything that comes with it. But we also like bringing style and grace
to what we do. Being in the trenches doesn't have be dull or frumpy, it
can have beauty and class too. You may just have to wipe some jam,
Cheerios crumbs and that mysterious sticky substance off your heel
occasionally. Good thing it is totally worth it!
