I am a wife and stay-at-home mom of two sweet and loving kiddos, one boy and one girl (does anyone else hear that Collin Raye song in their head?). We are also expecting another blessing due to arrive at the end of September! I can't wait to meet this little person!

We are currently homeschooling our son, William, and we are all loving it. I was a bit apprehensive when we started in the fall - wondering how he would like it, if he would put up a fuss, if he would learn anything (since that is kind of the point), and if it would fit his busy personality. But I couldn't be more happy with the results. It is crazy how much he has learned since we started last year! He is soaking it up like a sponge and asking for more. And I love have my dear, sweet boy at home with us. William also loves being on his scooter, creating things with Lego, and playing on the computer.

Our daughter, Annaliese, is a little lady. She loves wearing dresses and skirts, and she loves the color pink. She can often be seen carrying around a purse when we run errands and attend church. She also has a way with words and it is hilarious listening to her talk and express herself. She has always loved books and is usually the culprit if there is a mess of books next to the bookshelf.

I have many, *almost* too many, hobbies and interests. They keep me pretty well occupied, so I have to make a point of blogging. Hopefully Andrea will help me with reminders and the occasional kick in the pants. I enjoy cooking, sewing, quilting, reading, knitting, crafting, gardening (ahem, not weeding...), and I'm sure there's more, but those are the big ones. I love trying new things and I especially like getting ideas from people, so feel free to pass along any recipes or craft ideas - I'd love to hear from you!
